Nicolas Fleury began studying the French and natural horn at the age of eight. In 2009 he graduated with distinction (Tagore Gold Medal) from the Royal College of Music, where his teachers were Timothy Brown and Sue Dent.

Nicolas is Principal Horn in the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, as well as in the Aurora Orchestra and Spira mirabilis. He appears frequently as a guest in orchestras such as the LSO, the Philharmonia, the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the London Sinfonietta, CBSO, The Academy of St Martin in the Fields and Orchestra Mozart, working with conductors including Esa-Pekka Salonen, Lorin Maazel, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Jukka-Pekka Saraste, Andris Nelsons, Symon Byshkov, John Adams, Sir Neville Marriner and Murray Perahia.
